Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us when you visit wingappliance.com, request a quote, or place an order.

Who we are
Wing Appliance designs and manufactures kitchen appliances for retail, OEM, and ODM partners. This policy covers wingappliance.com and any Wing Appliance page that links to it. It does not cover other websites you may reach from ours.
The responsible party is Ning Wing Smart Appliance, Ltd., 3rd Floor, Building 2, No. 588 MeiDiSi Road, Xincheng Village, Wuxiang Town, Yinzhou District, Ningbo, China. For privacy questions, email jessica@wingappliance.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Quote and contact forms: your name, company, email, phone number, country, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Accounts: if you register, your username, email, and any details you add to your profile.
- Comments and reviews: the name and email you submit, plus the content itself.
- Email sign-ups: your email address and, if you provide it, your name and company.
- Uploads: any drawings, specifications, or images you send us. If you upload photos, strip embedded location data (EXIF GPS) first — files posted publicly on the site can be downloaded and that data read.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and language setting.
- Pages you viewed, how you arrived, and how long you stayed.
- Cookie identifiers and similar technologies (see Cookies).
We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
How we use it
| Purpose | What that means |
|---|---|
| Responding to you | Answering quote requests, sourcing questions, and support enquiries. |
| Quoting and sampling | Preparing quotations, arranging samples, and coordinating production enquiries with our factory teams. |
| Running the site | Keeping pages working, preventing spam and fraud, maintaining security. |
| Improving what we offer | Understanding which products and pages people are interested in. |
| Marketing | Sending updates and product news, only where you have opted in or where we have a legitimate business relationship. Every email has an unsubscribe link. |
| Legal obligations | Tax records, export and trade compliance, and responding to lawful requests. |
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on contract performance (quotes and supply agreements), legitimate interests (site security, B2B communication, product improvement), consent (marketing cookies and email sign-ups), and legal obligation (record keeping).
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
| Type | What it does | Typical lifespan |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps your session active, remembers your language, secures logins. | Session to 1 year |
| Preference | Saves your name and email if you opt in when leaving a comment. | 1 year |
| Analytics | Google Analytics — counts visits and shows which pages get used. | Up to 2 years |
If you log in to the site, we set cookies for your login and display settings. Login cookies last two days, or two weeks if you choose “Remember me,” and are cleared when you log out. Display preference cookies last a year. Editing a post adds a cookie that records only the post ID and expires after one day.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept. You can change your choice later by clearing cookies for this site, and you can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for parts of the site to work correctly.
Third-party services
Some pages include embedded content such as videos, maps, or social posts. That content behaves as though you had visited the other site directly: it can set cookies, run tracking, and record your interaction with it, including linking that activity to an account you are logged into there.
The services we use are:
| Service | What it does | Where it processes data |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Measures visits and page activity using cookies and a truncated IP address. | United States and other Google locations |
| Microsoft Outlook / Exchange Online | Delivers and stores the emails generated by our contact and quote forms. | Microsoft data centres |
| OKKI CRM (Shenzhen Xiaoman Technology Co., Ltd., an Alibaba company) | Records enquiries and correspondence so our sales team can follow up and manage the customer relationship. | China |
| GTranslate | Translates page content into your language. | Provider infrastructure |
| Gravatar | May receive an anonymized hash of your email address to check whether you have a profile picture. If you leave a comment, that image is publicly visible alongside it. | United States |
Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who work on our behalf — website hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics, translation, and spam filtering — under contracts that limit them to that work.
- Wing Appliance affiliates, sales offices, and factory teams, where needed to answer your enquiry or support a project.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or reorganized.
If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email. Comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service.
International transfers
Ning Wing Smart Appliance, Ltd. is based in Ningbo, China, and works with sales and support colleagues in the United States. Information you send us may be stored or accessed in China, the United States, or wherever our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EEA and UK, and we ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep data
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Quote and contact enquiries | 24 months after our last exchange |
| Correspondence held in our CRM | 24 months after our last exchange, unless it relates to an active project |
| Project and supply records | 7 years, for tax, warranty, and compliance purposes |
| Account profiles | Until you ask us to close the account |
| Comments and their metadata | Indefinitely, so follow-up comments can be approved automatically rather than queued |
| Marketing lists | Until you unsubscribe |
| Analytics | Up to 26 months |
Registered users can view, edit, or delete their profile information at any time, except the username. Site administrators can also view and edit that information.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your data, except records we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
- Stop marketing emails, immediately and without giving a reason.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, or receive your data in a portable format.
Email jessica@wingappliance.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first. Making a request costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for making one. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither. EEA and UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.
Security
The site runs over encrypted HTTPS connections. We restrict access to personal data to staff who need it, use reputable hosting and payment providers, and keep our software patched. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as the law requires.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will post a notice on the site and, where required, contact you directly.
